Valorização e dinamização da Rota dos Arquivos do Alentejo - Um projeto de estágio no Arquivo Distrital de Évora

A importância da documentação depositada nos Arquivos para o resgate da memória dos indivíduos e das comunidades, e para a construção do conhecimento histórico sobre as mesmas, é a premissa subjacente ao Estágio realizado no Arquivo Distrital de Évora, no âmbito do Mestrado em Gestão e Valorização do Património Histórico e Cultural. As atividades de Estágio, e consequente Relatório, centraram-se em tarefas relacionadas com a dinamização da Rota dos Arquivos do Alentejo, criada em 2015. Para esse efeito desenvolveu-se investigação sobre o universo dos arquivos, sobretudo centrado em Portugal, e sobre os fundos documentais relativos aos arquivos da Rota. Tratou-se de uma atividade prévia, e de contextualização, com vista à conceção de estratégias destinadas a difundir os acervos dos arquivos da Rota, numa perspetiva de salvaguarda, estudo e divulgação pública dos mesmos. A concretização deste propósito deu origem à elaboração de diversos Itinerários temáticos, cuja finalidade é a valorização da própria Rota dos Arquivos do Alentejo; Appreciation and Dynamisation of Rota dos Arquivos do Alentejo - An Internship project in the Arquivo Distrital de Évora Abstract: The importance of the documentation deposited in the Archives to rescue the memory of individuals and communities, and to build historical knowledge about them, is the premise underlying the Internship that took place in the District Archive of Évora, under the Master in Management and Enhancement of Historical and Cultural Heritage. The Internship activities, and consequent Report, focused on tasks related to the promotion of the Alentejo Archives Route, created in 2015. For this purpose, research was carried out on the universe of archives, especially focused on Portugal, and on the documentary funds related to the Route's archives. This was a preliminary and contextualisation activity, with a view to designing strategies aimed at disseminating the collections of the Rota archives, in a perspective of safeguarding, studying and publicising them. The achievement of this purpose gave rise to the preparation of various thematic Itineraries, whose purpose is the enhancement of the Alentejo Archives Route itself.
