O papel da poesia na Educação Pré-escolar e no 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico

Este relatório surgiu no âmbito da prática de ensino supervisionada do mestrado de Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, com objetivo à obtenção do grau de mestre. O mesmo consiste na descrição do trabalho realizado com contexto de 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e Educação Pré-Escolar. Este trabalho procurou entender qual o papel atribuído, atualmente, à Poesia na sala. Neste sentido, convocámos estudos que permitissem conhecer o papel ideal que a Poesia deveria assumir, estratégias para que o mesmo se sucedesse e os impactos que resultam da atribuição do significativo papel à Poesia. Foi adotada a metodologia da investigação-ação, refletindo e agindo sob o encontrado, e privilegiando a recolha de dados qualitativos que permitissem dar resposta aos objetivos traçados. Procurámos promover momentos positivos associados à Poesia, sempre com base no prazer e curiosidade. Os resultados emergentes evidenciam que a postura adotada pelo professor/educador são de extrema relevância na relação que a criança formará com a Poesia e que esta influência se alarga além das fronteiras da utilização do texto no sentido do seu caráter funcional; - The role of Poetry in Pre-School Education and the 1st Cycle of Basic Education - ABSTRACT: This report emerged as part of the supervised teaching practice of the master's degree in Pre-School Education and Teaching in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education, with the aim of obtaining a master's degree. It consists of a description of the work carried out in the context of 1st Cycle of Basic Education and Pre-School Education. This work sought to understand the role currently attributed to Poetry in the classroom. In this sense, we called for studies that would allow us to understand the ideal role that Poetry should assume, strategies for this to happen and the impacts that result from the attribution of a significant role to Poetry. The action research methodology was adopted, reflecting and acting on what was found, and prioritizing the collection of qualitative data that would allow responding to the objectives set. We sought to promote positive moments associated with Poetry, always based on pleasure and curiosity. The emerging results show that the stance adopted by the teacher/educator is extremely important in the relationship that the child will form with Poetry and that this influence extends beyond the boundaries of the use of the text in the sense of its functional character.
