The present work consists in the execution of a project for the rehabilitation and recovery of a rural habitation building of mid-twentieth century. We seek to construct a response in the form of a final project, ready to build, starting from the analysis and interpretation of the constraints of the pre-existence and anchored in the definition of a methodology of intervention. The practical component emerges simultaneously with the investigation and theoretical analysis, without there being a temporal division between them. Thus, we reflect on the hypotheses that best respond the need to relate the existent with the programatic and comfort needs a residential building demands in the present. It is key and central point of this work to adapt the building to the new needs, the same time that these are conditioned by the pre-existence.
