Durante o seu tempo de evolução introduz as suas inovações e influências. A cidade atual ganha problemáticas e temos de arranjar solução para resolvê-las. Neste trabalho concentrámo-nos na reconfiguração dos espaços urbanos através dos conceitos de acupunctura urbana e hibridização. Em primeiro lugar estudamos a evolução da cidade e as problemáticas existentes. A análise começou pelo estudo das dinâmicas, da história e do processo de crescimento das cidades. Este facto deu origem à desterritorialização, ao abandono dos centros urbanos e, por consequência, ao início do processo da obsolescência nas cidades e expondo os vazios urbanos. Explorámos a problemática da degradação ambiental urbana, visto ser bastante comum nas cidades, deixando as áreas centrais pouco atrativas. Observamos a situação dos espaços urbanos obsoletos, sendo estes visíveis nas paisagens das cidades e o envelhecimento descontrolado. Depois de termos estudado as problemáticas e compilando-as, usamos os conceitos de acupunctura urbana e reconfiguração através de hibridização como soluções para melhorar a cidade. Com isso conseguimos criar uma malha urbana mais organizada, dar uma nova vida e imagem à cidade, voltar a ter uma hierarquia urbana, reconfigurar e renovar os espaços abandonados e obsoletos.A city has its history, roots and image. During its evolution time it introduces its innovations and influences. The actual city gains problems and we have to find a solution to solve them. In this work we focus on the reconfiguration of urban spaces through the concepts of urban acupuncture and hybridization. First of all we study the evolution of the city and the existing issues. The review began with the study of dynamics, history and the process of cities growth. This event lead to deterritorialization, neglect of urban centres and consequently, to the beginning of the process of obsolescence of cities, exposing the urban voids. We have explored the urban environmental degradation problem, and realized it is quite common in cities, leaving the central areas unattractive. We observed the matter of the obsolete urban spaces, being these visible in the landscapes of the cities and the uncontrolled aging. After we have studied the problems and compiling them, we have used the concepts of urban acupuncture and reconfiguration through hybridization as solutions to improve the city.
