São abordadas as formas como os nativos norte-americanos são representados, em geral, e as mulheres em particular, sobretudo a nível literário. A partir das representações estereotipadas e da noção de interiorização serão analisadas as representações presentes nas obras de Sherman Alexie, acima referidas.
