O presente relatório enquadra-se na unidade curricular Prática de Ensino Supervisionada (PES), em contexto de Creche e Jardim de Infância, do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar. O objetivo principal desta investigação centra-se em compreender quais os papéis que os educadores de infância podem ter face ao brincar das crianças em contexto educativo e potenciar a sua qualidade. Desta forma, a metodologia adotada foi a investigação-ação, com recurso a diversos instrumentos de recolha/produção de dados, sendo eles: observação participante e registo das notas de campo e respetivas reflexões, realização de uma entrevista às educadoras cooperantes de ambos os contextos. A partir das observações e dos resultados recolhidos que emergiram deste estudo, é possível afirmar que os/as educadores de infância têm um papel crucial no que diz respeito ao brincar da criança, dado que organizam todo o ambiente educativo consoante as necessidades e interesses do grupo, interagem com as crianças e são facilitadores das brincadeiras das crianças, tornando-as mais significativas, contribuindo assim para o desenvolvimento e aprendizagem das crianças; - The role of the kindergarten teacher in the child's play Abstract: This report is part of the curricular unit Supervised Teaching Practice (PES), in the context of creche and pre-school, of the Master's in Pre-School Education. The main objective of this investigation is to understand the roles that preschool teachers can have when playing with children in an educational context and how to promote its quality. In this way, we intend to demonstrate a critical-reflexive attitude in both contexts, and since the learning must be significant, we use the action-research methodology, using various data collection instruments, which will be presented as: participant observation, field notes with reflections and an interview with the cooperating educator from both contexts. Based on the literature review, the observations and results obtained through this study, we are able to demonstrate the importance of preschool teachers in the child's playing activity, organising the educational context and materials and interacting with children adapting to their needs in favor of their development and learning.
