Resumo: | El centésimo mono by Osqui Guzmán puts theatre, actor and character at stake by enabling the audience's critical eye. The play creates an alternate (and interesting) space within the argentine theatre system in the 21st Century which questions the production and expectation conditions of the theatrical event itself. The Character, a splintered, blurred and hard to grasp entity, is the centrepiece of the play and turns into a guide and direct speaker to the audience. The resources and procedures analysed from a theoretical perspective that appeals not only to its own concepts but also to other fields of cultural thinking, make it possible for a more complex analysis of the actor-character duality and his performance on stage. El centésimo mono is a play where the actorsubject leaves his own marks through the cracks which open up the plot by magic. |

La obra abre un espacio alternativo e interesante dentro del sistema teatral argentino del siglo XXI que pone en cuestionamiento las condiciones de producción y expectación del hecho teatral en sí mismo. El Personaje, entidad que se presenta escindida, difícil de aprehender y que parece desdibujarse, es el eje central sobre el que reflexiona la obra y se convierte en guía e interlocutor directo del espectador. Los recursos y procedimientos analizados desde una perspectiva teórica qu e apela no solo a conceptos propios de la teoría teatral sino también a otros campos del pensamiento cultural, nos permiten complejizar la problemática dupla actor-personaje y su performance sobre el escenario. En El centésimo mono al actor-sujeto deja sus propias marcas desde pequeñas hendijas que se abren en la trama “como por arte de magia”.En El centésimo mono de Osqui Guzmán se ponen en juego, habilitando la mirada crítica de los espectadores, los conceptos naturalizados de actuación, teatro, actor, personaje.
