Summary: | The following document is entitled School Placement report to obtain the 2nd cycle teaching of Physical Education Teaching in Basic and Secondary Education in the School Placement Curricular Unit. This report seeks to make known all the lived experiences of a student-intern and all the doubt and fears in this first contact with students in the teaching-learning process. This supervised teaching practice took place in a 9th grade class, within an internship group made up of three elements, a cooperating teacher from the school and a faculty advisor. All the challenges and constraints that were drivers for improving practice are portrayed, pertaining both planning and pedagogical intervention. The Sports Education Model served as the basis of this entire intervention, where all the advantages and procedures of using this model are reported. The study developed across this school placement aimed to find strategies for greater inclusion of Lower Performance Level students in Physical Education classes, more specifically regarding football practice, through the Peer Teaching Model. The results showed a greater participation on the part of these students. Nevertheless, on the other hand, results also showed that most of these students chose not to participate much, due to their own decision and lack of enjoyment of the sport. This report highlights the perspective of a student-intern who always wanted to be a Physical Education teacher and intended to place students at the center of the teaching-learning process. |
