One particular area for which developments and data have been made available in record time is related to vaccines and their impacts on health conditions and saving lives. In this article, we use public domain information to study the prevalence of vaccines in different countries and how they can save lives. We conclude that there are different clusters of countries, for some of which solid statistical models were built, and show that vaccination rates provide significant contributions to saving lives in such countries, with impacts that can be computed by simulations based upon these models.NOVA Information Management School (NOVA IMS)Information Management Research Center (MagIC) - NOVA Information Management SchoolRUNAntonio, NunoRita, PauloSaraiva, Pedro2022-03-15T23:23:04Z2022-03-092022-03-09T00:00:00Zinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/article19application/pdfhttp://hdl.handle.net/10362/134569engPURE: 42382377https://doi.org/10.3390/vaccines10030409info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessreponame:Repositórios Científicos de Acesso Aberto de Portugal (RCAAP)instname:FCCN, serviços digitais da FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologiainstacron:RCAAP2024-05-22T18:00:11Zoai:run.unl.pt:10362/134569Portal AgregadorONGhttps://www.rcaap.pt/oai/openaireinfo@rcaap.ptopendoar:https://opendoar.ac.uk/repository/71602025-05-28T17:31:05.550093Repositórios Científicos de Acesso Aberto de Portugal (RCAAP) - FCCN, serviços digitais da FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologiafalse
