Resumo: This thesis presents a proposal for a ISPBX based on the packet switching architecture Pseudo-Estrela (token passing parallel bus). The thesis includes a comprehensive description of the design concepts including the functional and internal behaviour of the ISPBX for circuit switched and packet switched communications and the required adaptation of the Pseudo-Estrela architecture to be used as nucleous of the ISPBX.(...)
