O Moinho de Maré de Corroios: ilustração do património industrial e ambiental

Com este trabalho pretende-se contribuir para a valorização do Moinho de Corroios, através do registo gráfico do seu património técnico, etnográfico e histórico, bem como através da produção de material ilustrado, que possibilite divulgar a riqueza biológica da área onde o moinho privilegiadamente se localiza. O projeto desenvolvido centrou-se em dois temas principais, a ilustração do património do Moinho de Corroios e o património natural da sua envolvente, o Sapal de Corroios. O trabalho realizado resultou na realização de cerca de 60 ilustrações, as quais foram utilizadas na conceção de 7 painéis informativos elaborados para acompanhar o percurso museológico do moinho e 5 painéis destinados a integrar a exposição temporária dedicada à biodiversidade da envolvente do moinho. As ilustrações dedicadas ao património do Moinho de Corroios abordam uma vasta gama de conceitos relativos, desde a sua localização, fases de construção, a caldeira, o funcionamento hidráulico, os seus mecanismos e os principais utensílios do moleiro, proporcionando ao público visitante uma visão multifacetada do mesmo. Relativamente às ilustrações sobre o património natural da envolvente do moinho, foi ilustrada uma seleção de espécies representativa das comunidades biológicas características do Sapal de Corroios, nomeadamente da sua flora, avifauna e fauna aquática, procurando assim comunicar ao público a biodiversidade ali ocorrente. Na execução das artes finais utilizou-se um conjunto de técnicas digitais, nomeadamente a pintura digital, o desenho vetorial e a modelação 3D; THE CORROIOS TIDE MILL ILLUSTRATION OF THE INDUSTRIAL AND NATURAL HERITAGE ABSTRACT: This project aims to contribute to the valorization of the Corroios Mill through the graphical record of its technical, ethnographical and historical heritage, as well as through the production of illustrated material related with the biological richness of the area where the mill is located. The project focused on two main themes. On one side, the illustration of the Corroios Mill heritage, and on the other, the illustration of its natural surroundings, the Corroios salt marsh. The result was the production of about 60 illustrations, which were used to design 7 display panels, intended to be exposed in the Corroios Mill, and 5 others which will integrate the temporary exhibition dedicated to the biodiversity surrounding the mill. The illustrations dedicated to the Corroios Mill heritage address a wide range of topics related to the mill, such as its location, construction phases, the reservoir, the hydraulic operation, its mechanisms and the miller’s major tools, providing the public with a multifaceted view of the mill. Regarding the illustrations on the mill’s natural surroundings, a selection of representative species of the biological communities of the Corroios salt marsh was illustrated, including species of its flora, avian fauna and aquatic fauna, thus seeking to communicate to the public the biodiversity that can the observed in that area. The illustrations were made using a set of digital techniques, including digital painting, vector drawing and 3D modeling.
