Mecanismos de interacção solo-geossintético : ensaios de arranque

A utilização de materiais geossintéticos em obras de Engenharia Civil tem sido bastante frequente. Os projectos e obras exigem uma maior compreensão do comportamento de interacção solo-geossintético. O presente trabalho propõe caracterizar os mecanismos de interacção solo-geossintético em estruturas de solo reforçado com geossintético, através de ensaios de arranque. Dois geossintéticos foram submetidos à danificação durante a instalação (DDI), em condições reais. Os efeitos da danificação induzida no geossintético foram avaliados por meio do ensaio de tracção. Simultaneamente foi implementado um programa de teste para realizar ensaios de arranque (de acordo com a NP EN 13738:2007), para caracterizar o comportamento na interface sologeossintético. Os geossintéticos ensaiados incluem dois geossintéticos com estruturas diferentes. Os efeitos da DDI no comportamento de arranque dos geossintéticos são apresentados e discutidos. São apresentados os valores dos coeficientes parciais de segurança determinados a partir dos resultados dos ensaios. ABSTRACT: The use of geosynthetic materials in Civil Engineering has been quite frequent. The design and field works demand a better understanding of the interaction between soil and geosynthetic. The present work proposes to characterize the mechanisms of interaction between soil and geosynthetics in structures of soil reinforced with geosynthetics, through pullout tests. Two geosynthetics were subjected to the effect of damage during installation (DDI) using real conditions. The effects of the damage induced on the geosynthetics by these procedures were evaluated using wide-width tensile test. Simultaneously a test program was implemented to carry out pullout tests (according with NP EN 13738:2007) to characterize the interaction behavior between soil and geosynthetic. The geosynthetics tested include two geosynthetics with different structures. The effects of DDI on the pullout behavior of the geosynthetics are presented and discussed. There are presented the values of the partial coefficients of security determined from the results of the tests.
