Characterization of plant height and chlorophyll index of peanut genotypes under the conditions of Campo Verde-MT

Resumo: The present work aimed to characterize the plant heights and the chlorophyll index of peanut genotypes under the conditions of Campo Verde-MT. The experiment was carried out in the 2019/20 agricultural year in the experimental area of "‹"‹the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Mato Grosso – Campus São Vicente, Campo Verde Reference Center, located in the municipality of Campo Verde – MT. The experimental design used was in randomized blocks, with four replications. The treatments were nine peanut genotypes, six strains (1253 OL, 1952 OL, 1900 OL, 1965 OL, 1973 OL and 2133 OL) and three cultivars (BRS 421 OL, BRS 423 OL and BRS 425 OL), both developed by Peanut Breeding Program (PMA) of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (EMBRAPA). The plots consisted of two lines three meters long, with an interval of two meters between plots. The useful area considered in the evaluations was two central meters, totaling 3.6 m2. The average stand established was 16 plants.m-1. The experiment was harvested on 03/20/2020 and the characteristics evaluated were nine plant height at 32, 42, 49, 60, 70, 84, 98, 110 and 122 days after planting (DAP) and the index of chlorophyll SPAD at 40, 70 and 98 DAP. It is concluded that the averages obtained in the nine plant heights and in the three chlorophyll index evaluations, can serve to characterize these studied genotypes and aggregate in further studies.

El experimento se llevó a cabo en el año agrícola 2019/20 en el área experimental del Instituto Federal de Educación, Ciencia y Tecnología de Mato Grosso – Campus São Vicente, Centro de Referencia Campo Verde, ubicado en el municipio de Campo Verde – MT. El diseño experimental utilizado fue en bloques al azar, con cuatro repeticiones. Los tratamientos fueron nueve genotipos de maní, seis cepas (1253 OL, 1952 OL, 1900 OL, 1965 OL, 1973 OL y 2133 OL) y tres cultivares (BRS 421 OL, BRS 423 OL y BRS 425 OL), ambos desarrollados por Peanut Breeding. Programa (PMA) de la Corporación Brasileña de Investigaciones Agropecuarias (EMBRAPA). Las parcelas constaban de dos líneas de tres metros de largo, con un intervalo de dos metros entre parcelas. El área útil considerada en las evaluaciones fue de dos metros centrales, totalizando 3.6 m2. El rodal promedio establecido fue de 16 plantas.m-1. El experimento se cosechó el 20/03/2020 y las características evaluadas fueron altura de nueve plantas a los 32, 42, 49, 60, 70, 84, 98, 110 y 122 días después de la siembra (DAP) y el índice de clorofila SPAD en 40, 70 y 98 DAP. Se concluye que los promedios obtenidos en las nueve alturas de plantas y en las tres evaluaciones del índice de clorofila, pueden servir para caracterizar estos genotipos estudiados y agregarlos en estudios posteriores.O presente trabalho teve como objetivo caracterizar as alturas de plantas e o índice de clorofila de genótipos de amendoim nas condições de Campo Verde-MT. Os tratamentos foram nove genótipos de amendoim, sendo seis linhagens (1253 OL, 1952 OL, 1900 OL, 1965 OL, 1973 OL e 2133 OL) e três cultivares (BRS 421 OL, BRS 423 OL e BRS 425 OL), ambos desenvolvidos pelo Programa de Melhoramento do Amendoim (PMA) da Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (EMBRAPA). As parcelas foram constituídas por duas linhas com três metros de comprimento, com intervalo de dois metros entre parcelas. A área útil considerada nas avaliações foram dois metros centrais, totalizando 3,6 m2. O estande médio estabelecido foi 16 plantas.m-1.
