Abstract: This work aims to describe the evolution of the Extension actions of the Federal University of Vale do São Francisco (Univasf), through the Institutional Program of Extension Scholarships (PIBEX), in the period from 2006 to 2022. analyze the trajectory of the program to build new perspectives on University Extension at Univasf. For the development of this study, a descriptive research was carried out in the digital archives of the Pro-Rectory of Extension of Univasf. Over the course of 16 PIBEX notices, there was an oscillation between growth and decline in the number of project submissions and scholarship approvals, but there was a general trend of growth. It was also noted the predominance of approved projects in the thematic areas of Health and Education, revealing the tendency of professors to collaborate with public policies in these areas. However, it is necessary to increase the number of grants to arouse greater interest in participating in public notices and benefit more projects.
