Resumo: | This article aims to analyze the epidemiological data of Tuberculosis in the penitentiary system in the municipality of Porto Velho between the years 2019-2013. The present study has a descriptive epidemiological character and was carried out using secondary data from the Disease and Notification Information System (SINAN NET), with data collected in October 2023, based on information made available by the State Health Surveillance Agency of Rondônia , analyzing the period between 2019 and 2023. It is concluded that among the prison population in the municipality of Porto Velho, the preponderance is males, aged between 20 and 34 years, with high cure rates, low treatment abandonment and some cases of co-infection with the HIV virus, with the predominance of the pulmonary form. |

El presente estudio tiene carácter epidemiológico descriptivo y fue realizado a partir de datos secundarios del Sistema de Información y Notificación de Enfermedades (SINAN NET), con datos recolectados en octubre de 2023, a partir de informaciones puestas a disposición por la Agencia Estatal de Vigilancia Sanitaria de Rondônia, analizando la período comprendido entre 2019 y 2023. Se concluye que entre la población penitenciaria del municipio de Porto Velho, la preponderancia es del sexo masculino, con edades entre 20 y 34 años, con altas tasas de curación, bajo abandono del tratamiento y algunos casos de coinfección con el Virus VIH, con predominio de la forma pulmonar.Este artigo tem por objetivo analisar os dados epidemiológicos da Tuberculose no sistema penitenciário no município de Porto Velho entre os anos de 2019-2013. O presente estudo possui um caráter epidemiológico descritivo e foi realizado utilizando dados secundários do Sistema de Informação de Agravos e de Notificações (SINAN NET), com dados coletados em Outubro de 2023, com base nas informações disponibilizadas pela Agência Estadual de Vigilância em Saúde de Rondônia, analisando o período entre os anos de 2019 a 2023.
