Summary: The article describes the use of the Internet by adolescents and the meaning of pastoral care. The Internet is presented as a living environment, where children and adolescents may find meaning, stability and orientation. The focus is not put on forms of pastoral care in the traditional settings like pastoral care by telephone. It is centered around ways of self-organization of adolescents and the development of resilience as a possibility of survival in an ever increasingly chaotic world.

La Internet es presentada como un ambiente real en que niños, niñas y jóvenes pueden encontrar sentido, significado, ayuda y orientación. El foco en este estudio no es la consejería pastoral en el modelo de consejería pastoral por teléfono. El texto se centra en torno de la auto-organización de los jóvenes y del desenvolvimiento de la resiliencia como una posibilidad de conseguir convivir en un mundo siempre más caótico.Este estudo descreve o uso da internet por adolescentes e o significado do cuidado pastoral. A internet é apresentada como um ambiente real em que crianças e jovens podem encontrar sentido, significado, ajuda e orientação. O foco neste estudo não é o aconselhamento pastoral no modelo do aconselhamento pastoral por telefone.
