Il rifiuto o l’assimilazione della diversità dell’altro innesca un processo disumanizzante che va a scapito della stessa identità personale e culturale, destinata a perdere vitalità fino ad atrofizzarsi. L’articolo mette in luce l’interpellazione umanizzante dell’emigrazione che provoca a rivisitare la comprensione dell’identità più profonda e autentica dell’essere umano che travalica e, al contempo, comprende e rende comunicanti le identità legate alla cultura, alla nazionalità, alla religione, fino ad evidenziare la struttura dialogica della persona, creata ad immagine di Dio che è unitrino, dialogo tra le diversità.
