SCHOOL WELCOMING AND INCLUSION OF CHILDREN IN REFUGEE SITUATIONS IN THE EARLY YEARS OF ELEMENTARY EDUCATION

Summary: This article refers to research, which aimed to analyze how schools can contribute, through reception, to the inclusion of children in refugee situations, entering the initial years of elementary school. The investigation, of a theoretical nature, was developed in order to understand the phenomenon of refuge and the meanings that reception can have for the inclusion of these children in school. The data was collected, categorized and analyzed based on the works of Winnicott, a pediatrician and child psychoanalyst who investigated the emotional development of children in times of war, highlighting elements that contribute to the understanding of the reception processes at school. Productions that stood out in a bibliographic survey carried out on the Capes Periodicals Portal were also analyzed to understand the phenomenon of refuge. The results showed that refuge is a traumatic process with impacts that expose children to situations of physical, psychological, cultural and social vulnerability, which is why it is essential that schools develop reception strategies that consider their characteristics and emotional needs, with guidance and support for specific pedagogical practices for children who experienced refuge. .

Para ello, se establecieron los siguientes objetivos específicos: caracterizar y discutir, desde la perspectiva de Winnicott, el desarrollo emocional del niño; identificar, también basándose en el autor, los posibles impactos emocionales de la migración; comprender los conceptos y los procesos que implican la acogida; y discutir cómo la escuela puede contribuir, a través de la acogida, a la inclusión del niño en situación de refugio en el entorno escolar. La investigación, de carácter cualitativo, se desarrolló a través de un estudio exploratorio. Los datos fueron analizados con base en la teoría de Winnicott y en el marco teórico de otros autores destacados durante la revisión bibliográfica realizada en bases de datos especializadas. Los resultados mostraron que el refugio es un proceso traumático que expone a los niños a situaciones de vulnerabilidad física, psíquica, cultural y social. Por esta razón, es fundamental que las escuelas desarrollen formas de acogida, ofreciendo apoyo y respaldo a prácticas pedagógicas específicas para atender a los niños que han experimentado el refugio.Este artigo se refere à pesquisa de mestrado, em que a investigação teve como objetivo geral a proposta de analisar como a escola, por meio de um trabalho de acolhimento, pode contribuir à inclusão de crianças em situação de refúgio, ingressantes nas séries iniciais do ensino fundamental de escolas públicas. Para tanto teve como objetivos específicos: caracterizar e discutir, do ponto de vista de Winnicott, o desenvolvimento emocional da criança; identificar, ainda com base no autor, os possíveis impactos emocionais da migração; compreender os conceitos e os processos que envolvem o acolhimento e discutir como a escola pode contribuir, por meio do acolhimento, à inclusão da criança em situação de refúgio no ambiente escolar. A investigação, de cunho qualitativo, foi desenvolvida por meio da pesquisa exploratória. Os dados foram analisados com base na teoria de Winnicott e de outros autores que se destacaram no levantamento bibliográfico nas bases de dados.
