Resumo: In this present article, it will be made a study about the “good life”, or “virtuous life”, according to the aristotelian-thomistic ethical principles. So it will be done, expliciting the doctrine contained in the Stagirite’s work, Nicomachean Ethics, in the light of his main commentator, Thomas Aquinas, as well as other commentators from the Thomistic School, focusing on the study of the conditions, nature and effects of the good life. It is therefore intended to demonstrate not only the internal coherence of the aristotelian-thomistic ethical system, but also its perfect adequation to the most profound aspirations of human nature, shedding lights on the difficult ethical-philosophical issue. Keywords: Virtue Ethics. Aristotle. Thomas Aquinas.

Keywords: Virtue Ethics. Aristotle. Thomas Aquinas.
