Resumo em Inglês: Due to the increase in the number of young people aged 15 to 24 infected with HIV, we sought, through this research, to co-construct with university students psychosocial actions that provided greater autonomy from other students about their sexual and reproductive experiences, helping to reduce the individual, social and programmatic vulnerability to STDs/HIV/AIDS and unplanned pregnancies among college students. Therefore, a qualitative research type survey was performed. The actions were co-constructed with students who were part of the extension project “Juvenile Protagonists: reducing vulnerability to STDs/AIDS and viral hepatitis on the university campus”, Tuiuti University of Paraná (TUP). The action planning was done through discussion groups, using information from the survey of what they considered to be important combined with working with the entire academic community. Data collection was carried out through participant observation of meetings with protagonists and students, of actions taken by TUP for the entire university community, and using the field journal. Through these actions, it was observed that university students had little knowledge about STDs/HIV/AIDS and their prevention; They did not know their rights as Health Unic System (HUS) users, such as the right to HIV testing and access to free condoms; They had difficulties using condoms in stable relationships; had greater adherence to hormonal contraceptive methods in the academic community; and they had difficulty negotiating condom use in their relations. We conclude that psychosocial actions by couples had a significant contribution to greater autonomy of university students, contributing to the reduction of their vulnerability to STD/HIV/AIDS and unplanned pregnancy.
