The present work aims to discuss the issues that were the basis for the implementation of public policies for Assessment in large scale in Brazil, having as object to your deployment and execution in the Curitiba municipal public school. The interest in research on large-scale assessments is given by its breadth and repercussions as diagnostic character public policy seeks to evaluate and monitor the development of quality in Brazilian education, coupled with the fact the dimension of this practice in the educational context, and actions that are established to achieve goals, and results. The assessments come becoming the core of the educational practices, directing policies and practices that are established in schools, distancing himself from the diagnostic character and promoter of learning to configure in pragmatic and operational directions that alter its real meaning. The goal of this research is to analyze the relationship between large-scale assessments and management contracts introduced in the public sphere Curitiba municipal governments of Carlos Alberto Richa (Beto Richa), 2005 2009-2010 and -2008, and later his successor and Lieutenant Governor Luciano Ducci, 2010 -2012, (continuity of tenure of Beto Richa) discussing the option for gerencialista model in education and the pursuit of quality education. It is a search that uses reading books and authors that underlie and analyze issues relating to the historical context in which public policy evaluation in large scale are inserted and intensified in the Brazilian education. The analysis in greater depth to the issues of evaluation was necessary in order to understand the movement of public policies within the State. |
