Resumo: | Aiming at a bioclimatic architecture that uses passive methods to reduce the energy consumption, this research has the purpose aim of verifying the thermal performance of buried and semi-buried test cells when compared to a ground control cell. The method is based on the comparison of the temperature indices measured inside two test cells and a control one, both made in reduced scale, with the same dimensions and material specifications regarding the external and soil temperature measured in Curitiba, PR, during the autumn, winter and summer. For the performance evaluation, the thermal amplitude, the thermal delay, the differences in temperature and amplitudes of surface sensors and the comfort indexes of each test cell were analyzed. After the measurements of autumn, winter and summer, treatment and data analysis, it was verified that the buried test cell presented lower thermal amplitude and greater thermal delay. Regarding comfort temperature, the buried test cell obtained the best performance during the fall, winter and summer periods. It was also possible to verify that the larger the area in contact with the soil, the better its thermal and energetic efficiencies. |
