Resumo: | The third-party logistics (3PL) is a logistics service provider which plays an important role in the supply chain (SCM). This work proposed a multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) model to solve the third-party logistics provider selection problem when priorities are set with respect to the company’ policies. Fuzzy SWARA is used to calculate the criteria weights and Fuzzy TOPSIS to select the best 3PL. The effectiveness of the model is tested in a real case study in home appliance manufacturer located in Brazil. The main results demonstrated that safety and environment is the most important criteria for the best 3PL selection and the importance of the criteria and evaluation of the alternatives from one decision-maker to another impact in the final ranking of the alternatives. Then, sensitivity analysis was performed to understand the importance of the criteria in relation to the selected alternative and furthermore to provide relevant information to decision-making team to improve the criteria with low performance. Finally, the dashboard displayed the importance of consider the implicit knowledge, experience and opinion of multidecision-makers. |
