The impacts of human activities, whether rural or urban, alter the entire natural dynamics of watercourses. The effects of this intervention are often revealed through floods, floods, siltation, landslides, among others In this sense, this study aims to evaluate the different types of land use and their impacts on maximum flows and runoff in the lonqueador river basin, located in Francisco Beltrão and Marmeleiro, Paraná. With the support of the SCS method (NRSC) it was possible to determine the peak flows and the influence of land use on runoff. Thus, hydrological simulations were performed to compare the impact on the lonqueador river basin. It was evident that it is and will be the type of land use according to the regulation of the master plans that enhanced the increases identified in this work, increasing runoff. The increase in urbanization along the Lonqueador river basin consequently increased the maximum flows.
