Resumo: | The Brazilian Road modal is one of the main means of cargo transportation in the country and has a significant importance in several business areas in Brazil, making it a strategic activity for companies. One of the main challenges faced by road transport in Brazil is theft, which has significant social and economic impacts. This type of crime affects the entire supply chain, raising price inflation for the final consumer. To address the challenges of road transport and reduce theft, it is crucial to adopt risk management measures, with the use of technologies, safety devices and strategic approaches. The truck steppe theft problem is a criminal practice in which the spare tire is stolen from parked cargo vehicles or during stops along transportation routes. This problem causes significant losses for carriers and drivers, as the lack of the steppe can compromise the continuity of the trip, causing delays in deliveries and damaging the reputation of companies. The adoption of efficient and innovative strategies is essential to boost the road transport sector and can bring significant benefits, helping to meet the challenges of today's market more competitively and efficiently. Innovation is essential for the economic and social development of Brazil, and the search for creative and technological solutions is fundamental to stand out in a competitive market. As a methodological procedure this dissertation adopted a quantitative research approach to investigate the problem of truck steppe thefts in a specific carrier. The study was carried out in the transport company Truckdoor of Campo Mourão - PR, which faced the problem of steppe thefts in its trucks. During the research, interviews were conducted with maintenance managers, fleet distribution and drivers affected by thefts. To develop a technological solution to the problem, the TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving) tool was adopted. The development of the product followed the steps of the Synectics process, seeking to solve the problem of theft of steppes from trucks. Selecting the right engineering parameters helped identify the key elements for innovation in the project. As a result, a specific safety locking device has been developed for the spare tire of trucks. The technological innovation of the locking device with secrecy shows its potential for positive impact on the sector, providing greater safety for drivers and companies. |
