Resumo: Electric energy is currently an input of fundamental importance for human beings, which is present in the simplest daily activities, from lighting an environment to the most complex activities of the modern era, such as in industries, ports, airports, etc. Population and economic growth in the world results in increased consumption of electricity. This happens at a faster pace than the increase in power generation, which can result in greater energy demand than the available energy in certain periods. This motivated the intensive search for Energy Efficiency, which is about achieving the desired performance for a given job with the minimum possible energy consumption. With this in mind, this work presents an Energy Efficiency project implemented in a university restaurant in the city of Curitiba-PR, proposing actions such as replacing conventional lighting with LED lamps and also the installation of a Grid Connected Photovoltaic System (GCPS) in building, in order to reduce energy consumption and consequently obtain financial advantages. It presents a survey of the equipment and loads used in the lighting and other environments of the building and a pre-dimensioning of Photovoltaic System. It presents a study of the equipment and loads used in lighting, kitchen and other building environments and a pre-dimensioning of the GCPS with the expected results after its installation.
