Ever since the men came to the earth, he spent his time modifying the environment, conceiving comfort, different and grown necessities of consumption, therefore, the environment sustainability became to be a worried cause we didn t know by many centuries of the predatory extractivism of the raw material not renewable. This work of search has a main angle the generation and handling of the urban solid remains as one of the greatest problems nowadays. After the presentation of the historic classification and destination of the urban solid remains (RSU), of the concept and kind of remains and of the techniques used for its destination, it s demonstrated a field of research with university students, looking for investigating the information referring to the generation and handling of remains from houses in the scope of their daily, beyond the discussion about the relations of the environment, social and educational aspects with the reference of the urban solid remains in the context of the awareness, multiplication of know ledges and changes about the postures of the university students and graduated of the Centro Universitário Católico Salesiano Auxilium (Unisalesiano) and of the Instituto Superior de Educação Auxilium (ISE). The ambient education is one of the tools that can be utilized in several fields: educational, social and sanitary, always with the possibility of educating the population in the direction of to know, reflect and act in favor of the supported development, of the conscious consume and the minimal handling according to the solid remains generated. Due to the amplitude of this theme, this work doesn t aim to wear it out, but to contribute to clarify the population and to inform them about the causes and effects of the action of the human concentrations about the environment, when it consumes predatorily the own planet. The institutions of basic, fundamental, high and under-graduation teaching must become a irradiator center of the education to a sustainable environment that offers quality of life to the nowadays and future generations, spreading the conscience that the natural resources are invaluable and finite possessions and from that all of us are responsible in its preservation. |
