Studying the history of Dentistry and focusing the Mouth Health in the scope of the Sistema Único de Saúde - SUS, the present work aimed to detail the actions developed in the cities of Cafelândia, Getulina, Guaiçara, Lins, Pongaí, Promissão, Sabino and Uru, belonging to the Region of the DRS-VI-Bauru, through secondary data, with intention to present the adequacy of these actions to the Politics of Mouth Health of the Sistema Único de Saúde - SUS. For this, mouth procedures had been analyzed in all attention levels, emphasizing the conception of health as promotion of good quality of life. It was verified that significant differences in the performace of the cities in relation to the actions developed in the Basic Units of Health do not exist. In general, they fulfill the goals programmed in offers of basic procedures and they do not make services of bigger complexity available to the population.The results gotten in the research can be of great value to the managers of each governmental sphere so that they can reevaluate its performance in the scope of Mouth Health and provide more resoluteness. |
