Resumo: |
The paper analyzes social participation in Goiana, a municipality in the state of Pernambuco, through the actions of cultural collectives and their strategies aimed at contributing to local development. Qualitative research has considered the importance of exercising citizenship, recognizing cultural and local identity, based on democratic practices with parity decisions regarding public policies of culture, in different public spaces. The theoretical reference framework highlights the following categories: social participation and citizenship, based on the studies of Aranha, (2005), Dantas (2007) and Gohn (2013, 2014); Cunha Filho (2010), Tatagiba (2010) and Rubim (2012) and Local development, from the perspective of the studies of Sen (1999), De Jesus (2003) and Kronemberger (2011). The research data were obtained through semi-structured interview and documentary analysis. The analysis of the information collected was examined from the perspective of Speech Analysis (AD), based on studies by Foucault (1996) e Orlandi (2011). |
