The Open Data Policy aims to publish and disseminate public information on the world wide web in order to allow users to apply and use it for the development of society. This opening can take place in an active way, which is the one in which the public entity opens information about its acts, or passive, which is the one in which the entity responds to information required by the citizen. The target Program of the present investigation was the Universidade Aberta do Brasil (UAB) which provides the democratization of access to higher education through the provision of courses in the Distance Education (EAD) model. Thus, the UAB Program must also promote an Open Data Policy so that society is aware of the importance and results achieved with its implementation. Thus, the research sought to outline the data sets that must be actively made available by the various Distance Education (EAD) structures of the universities that are part of the UAB system. To this end, the research brought a qualitativequantitative approach of an exploratory-descriptive nature, regarding the procedures, it is classified as bibliographic, documentary and survey. As a result, strategic data were mapped for active opening in the EAD portals of universities, in addition to presenting the perception of internal and external actors to UFRPE about active transparency in social control and quality in public management. |
