Resumo: For this research proposes to analyze how marketing strategies influence the sustainability of the production of typical organic arabica coffee in Taquaritinga do Norte – PE, as its social, economic and environmental aspects. Interviews with associated leaders and members of Association of Producers of Coffee Taquaritinga do Norte Organic and local field workers were held. The SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and Threats), was used as a tool, adapted to associate and confront the analysis of categories that characterize the commercial process. The current results show that maintaining the current marketing strategies create great difficulties for economic sustainability (economic viability and marketing), social (human maintenance in the field and the family production) and environmental (maintenance of native vegetation) the production of organic coffee shading Taquaritinga do Norte – PE.
