Resumo: |
This dissertation is based on the National Curricular Guidelines for Quilombola School Education to focus on the confluence between knowledge, with the general objective of analyzing the relationship between traditional quilombola and scientific knowledge based on the construction and application of a didactic action proposal on the production of cassava flour in the quilombola community of Matinha dos Pretos, located near the city of Feira de Santana, Bahia. To this end, initially, in the immersion phase, we carried out interviews with members and members of the community, aiming to get to know the culture through traditional knowledge related to food production and, based on the information obtained, we organized a didactic action, validated by the school and by the community, using criteria established in the literature. Then, this didactic action was applied at the local municipal school, in a ninth-year elementary school class and, finally, upon return, we carried out a new interview, this time with students who participated in the application. The data obtained from the audiovisual recording of the interviews and the moments of application, as well as the collection of materials developed in the activities and field notes, allowed analysis based on decolonial elements, to respect the nature and objectives of the work. It is important to highlight that all research was based on a sentimental methodology, which places actresses and actors at the intersection between reason and the heart. With the results, we seek to contribute to the valorization of traditional knowledge in the teaching of Science, as well as in the citizenship training of students from the locality of Matinha dos Pretos, valuing the culture and knowledge of their community, as well as for teaching reflections on the importance of construction and application of activities, in didactic actions, in the search for a more human Science teaching, which considers multiple knowledge, diversities, different contexts and multiculturalism in Quilombola School Education, as recommended in the curricular guidelines. |
