Resumo: The present study aimed to verify the maturation and subsequent cleavage of goat embryos after 26 hours in Treatment 1 (T1): Base TCM 199 + NaHCO3 + LH (5 mg/mL) + FSH (1 µg/mL) + Amicacin Sulfate (83.4 µg/mL) + Pyruvate (22 µg/mL) + 10% SFB; Treatment 2 (T2): Base TCM 199 + NaHCO3 + EGF (0.52 µg/mL) + Cysteamine (10 ng/mL) + Gentamicin (57 µg/mL), and Treatment 3 (T3): Base TCM 199 + NaHCO3 + EGF (0.52 µg/mL) + Cysteamine (10 ng/mL) + Gentamicin (57 µg/mL) + Cysteine (10 ng/mL) + Ascorbic acid (100 ng/mL); with an experiment divided in two stages. The first aimed to verify the nuclear maturation, and the second if the oocytes matured were fertilized with a dose of 2x100-6 / mL spermatozoa, and the cleavage percentage was observed. After 26 hours of maturation, the highest proportion stage that occurred over the treatments was Metaphase 2 (T1: 61.06, T2: 63.06 and T3: 64.36%), with similar percentages (p> 0.05) between treatments, as well as for all stages of nuclear division. Similarly, the oocyte cleavage rate (T1: 34.16, T2: 33.33 and T3: 32.51%), showed similar values (p>0.05) between treatments. It can be concluded that all three treatments provide a favorable environment for maturation of goat oocytes.
