Resumo: Aquaponics cultivation has great development potential with Macrobrachium rosenbergii and lettuce. In addition to this fact, the management of the addition of nutrient solution can enhance the productive performance of this cultivation system. The objective of this work was to evaluate the influence of the addition of hydroponic nutrient solution, on the productive performance of lettuce, freshwater shrimp and water quality in aquaponic cultivation with bioflocs, in addition to evaluating the flow of nutrients in the cultivated water. The experiment lasted 60 days, enabling the shrimp nursery and the cultivation of two cycles of lettuce. The experimental trial was completely randomized, conducted in a factorial scheme, based on four treatments, with 3 replicates each: biofloc system with or without addition of nutrients (BC and BS) and the clear water system with or without addition of nutrients (AC and AS). The analyzes of water quality indicated the influence of the addition of nutrients, in the concentration of orthophosphate and nitrogen compounds, being at levels harmful to shrimp. The prawns showed better performance in the treatments without the addition of nutrient solution. On the other hand, lettuces showed better phytotechnical performance in treatments with addition of nutrient solution. This study indicates that further studies should be carried out that can evaluate the ideal level of addition of nutrient solution in order to enable the development of the two species of interest in the culture system.
