Resumo: This research aimed to make a critical comparative study between the Youth and Adult Education (EJA) curriculum proposed by the Education Secretariat of Pernambuco / SE-PE and the education proposal of the Landless Rural Workers Movement (MST) , identifying the points of approximation and distance between them, in order to understand the relationship between the political-pedagogical presuppositions, the curriculum and the project of society and human formation in question. In the discussions about the materialization of the Field Education paradigm in the field EJA, curriculum issues appear as central elements, since they make it possible to situate from which theoretical, political and cultural position are spoken and what visions of the world and man and of woman wants to strengthen herself. In this sense, it becomes a space of struggle to enable, among different groups and interests, the consolidation of an education and training project. Thus, it was sought to analyze the curriculum instituted by SE-PE and the MST narratives about an education process that promotes the strengthening of the construction of autonomy, human emancipation and other pedagogical practices. The research approach was qualitative of a socio-historical nature and the Historical Dialectic Materialism informed the methodological course that the research took, performing documentary analysis and using narrative interviews.
