Resumo: |
The development of information and communication technologies (ICTs) coming from the Internet opens a field of new possibilities for the production and circulation of content. Therefore, this scenario favors the occupation of these spaces by social movements, expanding the possibilities for debate and participation in the struggle for emancipation in society. For instance, that is the case of the feminist movements that now see technology as a way to strengthen their struggles. From this perspective, this study aims to analyze the consumption of Podcast as a means of communication in the context of the emancipatory struggles of women in contemporary times, in order to understand if the messages conveyed by that media contribute to broaden feminist struggles. Moreover, the theoretical and methodological approach relies on authors such as Castells, Cremades and Canclini and uses combined data collection and analysis techniques such as netnography and interviews with women, among Podcast producers and listeners, in addition to the analysis of program posts on the social network Instagram. |
