Through this project, according to the approach of Marcondes, Miguel, Franklin and Perez (2017), an opportunity was presented for the opening of a higher education institution in dentistry, called the School of Dentistry of the APDS-Association Paulista of Dental Surgeons, a class association that, through incentive and promotion to professional development, stood out for quality in its graduate courses. Due to the limitation by educational legislation governed by the Ministry of Education and Culture (MEC), which allows the provision of undergraduate and graduate courses by higher education institutions, has suffered the financial impact of the need for partnership with a Educational institution for certification of courses. Given the reality and organizational potential of APDS and the changes in educational legislation, the association identified the opportunity to promote innovative dentistry by means of technologies such as the use of software for pedagogical controls, research databases, real-time applied appraisals, 3D lessons, technological equipment for radiographic imaging, and the making of prototypes for practical learning. order to meet the complex procedures and require a formation of differentiated professionals, with quality in Performance of the various specialties of the area and the promotion of a dentistry applied for the benefit of the community in general through its own educational institution. The presentation of the result of the market analysis, the definition of the institutional policies and guidelines and the elaboration of a business model, allowed the administration of the institution and subsidized decisions inherent to the future of the school. In this sense, to enable the opportunity in the educational segment five proposals of solutions were developed: implementation of the mission, vision, values, objectives, policies and institutional guidelines, implementation of the Core of Attendance to the Student, implementation of the Core of Research, Extension and Postgraduate, Reformulation of marketing strategies and hiring of a company to develop research in the educational market, with their respective earning potential and costs. In this way, the experience that was acquired in this work can be shared and replicated, serving as the basis for decisions of other companies from different segments. |
