Resumo: |
This research assumes that there is no production of housing without developing a city, and that all citizens have the right to decent housing and urban life. Unlike many other countries in the world, there is no effective and vast experience in Brazil on the subject of social rental housing and public-private partnerships, and there is an insistence, even today, on treating housing access exclusively through the production and transfer of properties to beneficiaries of public policies. Thus, this study aimed to investigate opportunities for implementing the model of social rental model and public-private partnerships, based on an analysis of Brazilian and São Paulo efforts, in order to understand a wide panorama of possibilities, efficiencies and opportunities for improvements and alternatives to existing housing programs, targeting the urban right and access to housing for citizens. |
