Resumo:	This material proposes a collection and analysis of “Favela do Moinho” oral histories, the latest favela based in São Paulo’s Downtown City. Through inhabitans memories, there are reports about where they came from, how they live, what they want, what they understand in terms of violence, education, cultural environments and how they see and understand their own history and jobs. It reveals the composition of their urban space and some causes that facilitate the irregular and unpplaned land occupation, by helping us to know their internal dynamics and unveiling their logics of life.
