Human aging is a worldwide phenomenon, which Brazil has experienced expressively in contemporary times. This growing increase in the elderly segment of the Brazilian population requires a reorganization and planning of public and social health policies in the country, focusing on longevity, providing comprehensive health care services for the elderly. As a gateway to health services we find the Family Health Strategies, where the nurse is a professional who plays a fundamental role in the operation of this health service, so it is up to this professional to be qualified and able to perform their duties. Among the actions of health care for the elderly, performed by the professional nurse is the screening and stratification of risk for health vulnerabilities. Objective: To know the sense of self-efficacy of nurses who work in Family Health Strategies in relation to health care actions of the elderly.
