The research "Education and Work: a corelation history" intends to study the human history in its purpose of work and education in order to, through comparison, demonstrate the importance of both for the formation and maintenance of social classes distinguished in its social, cultural and economical structures. It has also as a goal to include how, still in the contemporaneity, the education diferentiated in classes allows formation degrees and consequent facilities in the search of promissing jobs to greater economical distinctive classes. The research is bibliographic and accomplishes, thoroughness, a historical analysis of Education and Work around the world and, specifically, in Brazil. Literary compositions of authors with relevant studies and analysis of historical periods are analysed, such as Sergio Buarque de Holanda, Nelson Werneck Sodré, Pedro Xavier, Maria Luisa Santos Ribeiro, Mariano Fernandez Enguita and Ricardo Antunes. It attempts to ponder over the results, in the productive life, of the speeches used in different educational styles implemented in schools where students distinguished by their social classes attend. Statistic data colected by the World Bank are also brought for analysis. The paper conclusion presents professional exepriences from the author as a manner of validating several topics developed in the research, such as; the importance of the partnership between teaching institutions and institutions productive for the formation and Constant qualification of professionals sharing equal competitive capacity and the improvement of power relations in companies. The sustenance of these factors is presented based on cooperation and competitiveness concepts, found in the work of Sergio Buarque de Holanda, theory which supports the possibility of being the competitive professional without the need of releasing yourself from the necessary moral characteristics for the favourable course of work relations and, consequently human progress |
