This research investigates the performance of 3º Regimento da Polícia Montada – 3rd RPMon, being used tactically as a means of intervening and communication which this band presented yourself in two major conflicts that happened in Passo Fundo town, knew as Revolta dos Motoqueiros 1979 - being still during the military dictatorship, and Fazenda Annoni, exactly at 1986, where there wasn’t negotiations between MST and Military Police, two episodes of national impact, where band had the mission to intervene through public presentations. This research is related with a band that your presentations transcend cultural aesthetic conceptions, taking the tactical nature activity by setting up like a military strategy. From the point of view effect which the band may cause, it seeks to analyze the symbols contained in the military band, investigating the symbols transmitted through the united order, uniform, marching, hierarchy and repertoire. With objective to do the contextualization, this work has the base on the historiographical and documentary research, allowing to nderstand the military profile and participation in fighting, considering the military band formation to express order. For this, the research refers to the first formation of the Military Brigade band in the state which allows transpose the memory and his performance in the main events, soon after, watching the music, the uniforms and organization as symbols that influence the community, consequently intervening in social conflicts. The drawing of this work is inspired by the art of music, like a factor that is present in professional life, providing the handling of musical instruments and also, repertories formation, enabling the dialogue with history. For systematic, consider itself the relations with communities in a time presents including the methodical careful and impressive, characteristic of a symbolic image that is formed when the band facilitates your relationships. In this uniqueness it propagates an image, a disciplinary institution in the polyphony of your scope that operates with a variety of sounds to consider the uniform, rhythm, military polyphony and the repertoire, checking a anipulated technique follows a hierarchy featuring the existence of an institution that propagates an example of management for the formation of a regularity. The choice for bibliographic and documentary research is used as a scientific methodology in order to characterize the theoretical framework that allows in fact, check if the music was able to intervene in conflict between military groups and society in a period of dictatorship. So this work is observed acting bands not just as an isolated event, but as a proactive actions taken strategically over time. |
