Resumo: |
The scarcity of drinking water in the world is becoming more real and does not respect race, location, creed nor social status. Climatic factors, increased population density especially in urban centers and pollution of water sources collaborate for the demand of drinking water for human needs are increasingly scarce. Water has become an expensive, undemocratic and real wealth for the local keeper springs as pure and quality for human consumption. The management of water use has been the agenda of international meetings and of extreme interest of governments. Due to the insufficient supply of drinking water to people, has been adopted mainly in some constructions, systems, rainwater utilization for the purpose of alleviating the demand for potable water and a significant reduction in the amount of rainwater drainage system urban, assisting in the days of large rainfall and preventing floods. The efficient use of rainwater becomes disturbing as many of these systems are not adequate with the existing laws, or even not been enough studies to prove the effectiveness of water quality and its proper uses, thus causing, insufficient supply, economic inefficiency and worse, that water contamination by pathogens, causing serious damage to the health of the user. The research aims to evaluate a system of water use rain installed on Living Center of the University of Passo Fundo RS, through monitoring and qualitative and quantitative analysis of the system. This work, want to expand the knowledge of the quantitative efficiency and quality of the water generated by the systems use rainwater. The NBR15527/2007 offers subsidies to a system design of rain water capture, and it is essential that the designer watch their resolutions The results show the importance of correct sizing of the accumulation reservoir that collected water, avoiding oversizing the reservoir , which increases the design and undersized, which does not meet the demand of the place, and one of the best spots for sizing a reservoir is to know exactly the correct number of the users of the system in question. Another important factor is that all system components use rainwater NBR15527/2007 are specified in the project and to run, as they are extremely important for the correct functioning of the system, including the use of chemical treatment for rainwater captured thus providing water quality, since the analyzes of samples, not only the case study, but other studies surveyed were detected contamination of microbiological agents |
