Resumo: The present dissertation had as objective to analyze the pedagogic performance from Franciscanas`Sisters Missionaries of Maria Auxiliadora in Chapecó-Santa Catarina. To aim this proposal it will be analyzed the epoque that Congregation was foward of Bom Pastor, educacional enterprise instituted in the city, in 1947, in the formation of school, until 1985, when the Sisters left the direction of school and the State Government assumed the entity completly and permanently. In the begining, we elaboreted a historical which addresses the caracteristics of the city in study, its formation, manners of colonization and development, enfasizing the educational question, all being relationed to the projects of nacional and of state government. To know and undestand the practices adopted by the Congregation, we performed a formation history of the same, from the founder study, the arrival to America, after to Brazil and to Chapecó. After the confessional contextualization of the city and institution, which is basement to the study, it will be addressed the school institution and the work of sisters in terms of management and pedagogy. The Congregation performance will be analyzed during almost four decades of missionary educational work. The implantation of shcool stablishment occurred by the ask of community from Chapecó and was part of a missionary project developed by the Catolic Church, actually after Catolic Restauration, which contributed with the coming of many Congregations to Brazil. The Sisters were present in the local from 1941, performing in shcools of the region and in 1947 it was effected the construction of Bom Pastor, with the passing of the years it was being enlarged institutionaly and physicaly, once that the Congregation was foward of the shcool direction until 1985, when the entity was totaly to state. Through this context, we analyzed from the implamentation, the manner of the work , the disciplinar process undertaken, the action of the teachers and students, the changes and reflects in front of the society and the education from Chapecó, that is, the way the Sisters organized and conduted the school work. During the years of confessional performance, it was not enfasizing the same panorama, many modifications and similarities occured, the civilizing project implemented passed by different fhase, which culminated with projects in terms of National Government and State and also with catolicism, factors of fundamental importance that will enlapse in the school analyzes. To the development of the work, we have materials from the Congregation, as relative documents of Bom Pastor School, which evidenced the proposal undertook, its application and the everyday shcool in the period of the study.
