This dissertation focuses on a longitudinal study focused within fifteen (15) years of Post -Graduate Education in the strict sense of the University of Passo Fundo, aiming to verify the implications and dialogues between this program and the Basic Education. Given this proposal, we seek to uncover the following problem: what tangible contributions of the Master's degree in education/UPF for the agenda of Basic Education? For the understanding and exploitation of this issue, we started with a documentary research the concepts that were developed during the fifteen years of the Program Graduate Education, followed by a literature review and also a study regarding educational policies developed for this stage of education. The study is justified by the fact that the Graduate Education in the strict sense be characterized as a major breakthrough for the educational setting, presenting options and perspectives that include changes in the economic, political, social, cultural and educational. Based on this assumption, we note the importance of conducting a study about the dialogues between PPGEDU/UPF and Basic Education, thus revealing the relationship between these two levels of education. We conclude that there are concrete initiatives both by the Higher Education as Basic Education, whose actions are being developed to draw/encourage school teachers to participate in ongoing training processes, establishing dialogues, proposals productions shared encouragement through scholarships for entering these teachers in Graduate strictly, thus bringing into the academic space the current context of basic education and, in return, bringing new ideas and proposals into the classrooms |
