Resumo: |
The subject of the present work is the training of poetry readers in high school; it is research-and-action based, developed along the school year of 2013 with the three groups of Juniors of Tiradentes School, run by the Military Police of Passo Fundo/RS. The actions took place at the beginning of the school year, with the students filling out a questionnaire and performing a poem-creating practice, in order to determine the students' profile as poetry readers and their level of knowledge of it. At the end of the year, the same evaluation methods were applied to be compared to the initial data. The goal was to determine how much the students' knowledge of poetry had improved from the work developed during the classes along the school year. To notice how poems can rise in students the taste and interest for poetry, eight reading practices were applied, also involving oral skills, interpretation and writing practice. Besides, in four other moments, students were stimulated to read poetry in different extracurricular activities, so called "poetic experiences". For theoretical base regarding the work practice including poetry, were consulted the works of Zilberman and Rösing (2009), Bordini and Aguiar (1993) and Averbuck (1985) among others. The results show that it is possible to train poetry readers in high school, using a creative and pleasant methodology that stimulates and enables young people to read poetic texts |
