Resumo: This work discusses the formation of the administrator and the paper of the Philosophy. The general objective is to analyse and to understand what the paper of the philosophy is in the process of formation of the administrator on basis of the studies of the communicative rationality of Jürgen Habermas. The instrumental predominant rationality in the course of administration is characterized, basically, for the actions of the man on the nature setting out a set of technical rules based on an empirical knowledge, for which they look in his objective ends previously defined with claim only to the efficiency and to the result. We resort to the Administration establishing a historical redemption of his principal influences: the models of production, taylorismo, fordismo, toyotismo and the legislation (laws, appearances and directives), under focus of analysis of the present racionalidades. We think about the paper of the Philosophy, able to develop a criticism to the process of domination of the instrumental predominant rationality in the formation of the administrator, trying to restore the unity of the reason that is broken up in view of the unilateral development of his potential itself to produce divergent and autonomous persistence of the knowledge. In other words, the Philosophy assumes the paper of is occupied by the restoration of the unity of the reason through the constant criticism to the tendencies of reducionismo the one that wants to submit last this one, when there is fitting, in this sense, the denunciation of the harms provoked by the predominance of the instrumental rationality. We resort to a philosophical Jürgen Habermas that proposes the communicative rationality like a set of standards under conditions of validity, demanded by acts of speech, where, for symbolic demonstrations, the subjects establish reciprocal expectations of action with sight to the understanding and to the consensus of the participants, by means of a speech argumentativa inserted in a process of communication. We have, so, the rationality exposed to two different directions, instrumental and communicative, but essential both to the process of formation of an administrator and his social reproduction. Habermas suggests what, for the educative practice, the individuals could transpose of a type of rationality for other one, mediated by an educative process turned to the understanding and not only to the result, and develop the capacity and communicative competence in such a way that they can participate critically in the social context through his argumentation. In this context, we develop reflections on the paper of the Philosophy and of his critical power before this picture, like promoter of autonomy and explanation, specifically in the teaching of the Administration. The education must take office you do not punish a technical and professional formation, but, also, a formation cultural-partner of the individual, valuing his existences and promoting the rationalization owed in the world in which they live
