Implicações do bullying no contexto escolar: percepção dos professores e a qualidade de vida dos adolescentes

Resumo: The most serious cases of bullying begin with teasing and name-calling. Sometimes these aggressions are free and seemingly innocent and often routine among students who, for the most part, do not identify as harmful to relationships, let alone as a source of situations of violence. This study aimed to verify the occurrence of bullying and the correlation with quality of life among adolescents elementary school II as well as the perception of teachers regarding this topic. The study followed the prevailing ethical dictates. It is cross-sectional, observational, descriptive and analytical study. They were visited all institutions of elementary school (n = 22) of a medium-sized municipality of São Paulo, Brazil, and invited all students and teachers, whose developments were divided into two chapters. The first chapter verified the occurrence of bullying through Victimization Scale and Aggression Peer (EVAP), the quality of life of the student, through the WHOQOL-Bref. In the second chapter was with teachers to verify the perception and attitude of teachers with questionnaire prepared by the authors. Qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis proposed by Bardin and quantitative through statistical tests to study the correlation between the variables, using the SPSS Statistics 20 software. Of the total of 382 students, 62% are girls; 46.3% reported that they had never practiced; 3.7% said they always committed bullying; 25.4% reported that sometimes caused colleagues; 21.2% claimed to be victims of intimidation of colleagues; 11.3% said they have a quality of life that is neither bad nor good; 2.4% that your life does not make any sense.
