Resumo: | Natural disasters are a major importance for engineering because they are phenomena of nature dynamic. The natural disaster studied in this work is the occurrence of seismic actions on structures, specifically the action of earthquake vibrations in civil structures. To conduct this study, the mathematical model of a simple portico plane under the action of Tajimi-Kanai seismic excitation, causing instability in the structure with a chaotic behavior. The alternative proposed to minimize these seismic vibrations and reducing the oscillatory movement of the system to a stable point is the hybrid control. The hybrid control is a combination of strategies for active and semi-active control, with the function to help prevent this natural disaster. The active control was used as optimal linear control and semi-active control the magneto rheological damper coupled structure. With the application of this hybrid control was possible to minimize seismic vibrations reducing the oscillatory movement to a stable behavior |
