Resumo: | The teaching of geometry allows the student to the analysis and understanding of the physical world around, facilitating the understanding and application of mathematical concepts and problem solving.This paper presents a proposal for teaching plane geometry through the tiles or tessellations of the plane. The study and construction of the mosaics, its elements, properties and classifications are discussed in official curricula of mathematics for its dynamic, playful aesthetic and contributing to the development of competencies and skills in geometry.Will be discussed: the historical context, tessellations with regular and irregular polygons, artistic mosaics Escher and Penrose, and ultimately a teaching proposal using Geogebra software.My goal is to demonstrate that it is possible to teach geometry pleasant, artistic and simple way, with interesting activities integrated with reality |
